First younger sister Lai Suk-chu Kayi Cheung is a prestigious kindergarten school superintendent who is kind but gullible.

She is immature and money hungry. She originally dated Yat-tsau’s partner Fai Chung-lim Raymond Wong because he is a rich restaurant heir, but after years of dating she really fell-in-love with him and wants him to quit the police force because of the dangers that comes with the job, also for him to return to being a rich heir. While recovering from a dog bite in the hospital his meets Ma Chi-ho Linda Chung , who is more concern for Bah-da then Yat-tsau’s injuries.

When I first met my husband, he was in uniform. In true woman form, I was enticed by his good looks, and not to mention how good he looked in said uniform. At the time I was your typical, slight-drunk something out with friends chatting up a hottie police officer — as I like to refer to it. My husband and I will both tell you we knew the moment we met that we were going to marry each other.

The first few months of dating were blissful and seemed somewhat normal, as I was still waiting tables, so my typical hours were from about 4 p. We fell hard and fast into love, moved in together after three or so months, and were on the fast-track to marriage. I spent most of the weekends at my parents house as he was working, most weeknights alone, trying to figure out how to make dinner for myself and not being bored out of my mind. Birthdays, birthday parties, holidays, weekends, you name it — I was usually flying solo to it.

My friends and co-workers asked me how I managed, not seeing him very much, being alone most nights, and attending family gatherings and holidays by myself. Or that his request off for your anniversary got denied because his shift is short-staffed. These are just some of the things you sign up for when you say yes to marrying into law enforcement. Most LEO wives will tell you the same thing.

You just become more adaptable. You do, however, have the most supportive, reliable, always-there-when-you-need-them, second family.

The Capital District Police K9 Training Group, in cooperation with the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, established the Law Enforcement K9 Memorial site to recognize and memorialize the invaluable services these dogs have given to their agencies and the communities they have served. The Law Enforcement K9 Memorial site was officially dedicated on September 11, , a date whose significance could not have been imagined at the time. The site is available for the recognition of any K9 that has served in a law enforcement capacity with any recognized public entity, regardless of the nature of the tasks they were trained to perform.

Some of the dogs memorialized were trained as Tracking or Detection Specialists accelerants, explosives or narcotics , while others were trained and served as Multi-Purpose K9s tracking, detection, evidence recovery, criminal detection and apprehension, officer protection, etc. The training these dogs and their handlers undergo is intensive, extensive and extremely demanding, as are the jobs they perform and the dangers they routinely face.

Collin Rose, 29, was a canine officer who cared for the community, his fellow officers say, and partnered with a dog named in honor of a slain Detroit police officer.

Officer Walker was assigned as his new handler and after completing the K9 Academy in , they were assigned to the Patrol Division. After working together for the past two and a half years, Officer Walker has voluntarily resigned from the El Cajon Police Department to work for another agency. Being that K9 Jester is still in excellent health and loves doing police work, he has been assigned a new partner, Officer Randall Gray.

It is not uncommon for strong, healthy police service dogs to be re-assigned to a new Handler if their current one leaves the K9 Unit because of a promotion, divisional transfer or separation from the Department. They will be scheduled to attend an academy later this year. Once they complete the academy, K9 Jester can again resume his passion of fighting crime and serving the citizens of the community. We have attached a photo of Officer Gray and K9 Jester during one of their daily bonding sessions where the officer and the dog will both learn to trust one another and work as a team.

There is no doubt that together, the two will be a valuable asset to the El Cajon Community and all of East County. Please enable JavaScript in your browser for a better user experience. Apply For Jump to subpage Welcome to the City News page!

A crowd composed of law enforcement, city officials and their friends and family gathered to witness the introduction of Tank. Tank was raised as part of a volunteer, nonprofit organization called Havoc, the brainchild of Ricki Draper.

The program raises the dogs from birth, training them until they are around a year old, when they are then handed over to law enforcement and first-responder agencies. The dogs are trained in law enforcement tasks and social skills. Without the volunteer time and money Havoc spent on raising Tank, it is unlikely the city would have been able to afford another K-9 unit, Keith said.
